(International Film Festival Of India)
This
festival is being organised by
the Directorate of Film Festivals,
of the Government of India's Ministry of
Information and Broadcasting,
in collaboration with the State
Government of Goa
and the Indian film industry.
This
festival is recognised by the International Federation of Film Producers’
Associations (FIAPF). The FIAPF (the French acronym for the International
Federation of Film Producers Associations) was created in 1977. It is
an organization composed with 31 member associations from 25 of the
leading audiovisual production countries. FIAPF is also in charge of
supervising international film festivals, including some of the world's
most important ones.

has been organizing “The Grape Escapade”
-Wine and Haute
Cuisine festival every year since 2005.
The fiesta is organised at
the huge courtyard of Inox Theatre in Panjim.
This is a lifetime event that one must
hang with in his event calendar.
Wine
is the soul mate of food.
Besides being associated with almost all
the happy occasions as friendship or success it
is also good for health when consumed in moderate amount.
Exclusive wine tasting sessions are conducted on all four days for invitees
and wine connoisseurs. Each one those who came to witness the festivity
stomp and clomp the grapes for the traditional crushing.

SUNBURN
Every

at candolim the 3-day sunburn dance festival,
which concludes on the third day,
is Asia’s Premier Electronic Music Festival.
The festival, which is into its third year,
this year they invited global clubbing brand and
dance behemoth Gatecrasher for the label stage.

This
is an annual fesival which takes place
in Goa ,a very colourfull and vibrant festival
in which there are a number of parades
which take place in different Cities the main
one being in the capital panjim, besides
the floats there are a number of
carneval events dances etc.

SHIGMO
Shigmo
parades,made up of traditional folk and
street-dancers and elaborately-built floats depicting
scenes from regional mythology and religious scenes.
,shigmo festivals also continue in diverse rural parts
of Goa, spanning over a fortnight,with different days
earmarked for celebrations in diverse areas.
This festival is celebrated around March
each year,is linked to the lunar-based Hindu calendar

JOAO
It
is the annual feast of St.John the baptist
celebrated on the 24th of june. the activities
include locals jumping in wells and pools,
door to door singing
and there are alot of other
events which take place like dances, pool parties,
hotel pool parties, water parks etc.
